One Year of Kind Brew: Minis & Portraits at Their Anniversary Celebration


Kind Brew Coffee and Tea House just celebrated one year in business, and I got to spend the afternoon there photographing mini sessions and portraits as part of the celebration. If you haven't been yet, consider this your sign.


Kind Brew is family owned and operated, right here in the Roanoke area, serving up creative lattes, bubble tea, parfaits, and treats alongside a sweet little gift shop. One year in, and it's clear this place was built with a lot of heart.


It was such a joy to be part of their anniversary celebration, tucked between the coffee counter and the gift shop shelves, camera in hand, celebrating a small business that's clearly loved by this community.

About kind brew

Owned by Kirsten and Matt, originally North Carolina-natives, settling their family & two kids in Roanoke, Virginia. They had one goal in mind, homesteading and wanting to build a community based on supporting one another. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the smell of coffee and the cutest little gift shop, hosting some of Southwest Virginia's local vendors.

 

Kirsten is so passionate about brewing coffee, from White Espresso Beans from Columbia (Grown in Volcanic soil) to Dirty Sodas ( For those Fiiz/Swig fans! Kind Brew is currently growing White Arabica Coffee Plants, which you'll find  displayed in their pots throughout the store.
